What is the Acoustic Fence technology on the Voyager Focus 2?
A virtual barrier set up in front of the mouth: the microphone picks up only what is inside this zone and leaves out everything coming from around it. The person you are talking to hears a conversation, not an open-plan office.
Can the active noise cancellation be adjusted on this headset?
Yes, the hybrid digital ANC can be set to three levels: you choose the attenuation depending on whether you are in a meeting room, an open-plan office or on a train, instead of putting up with a single setting.
What is the difference between ANC and Acoustic Fence on this headset?
They do not serve the same person. ANC reduces what you hear, with three adjustable levels; Acoustic Fence cleans up what the person you are talking to receives. A complete headset works in both directions.
How does the Voyager Focus 2 connect to the computer?
Via Bluetooth, through a USB-C adapter for the computer, with a direct link also possible to the smartphone. A USB-C to USB-A adapter cable is supplied for workstations without a USB-C port.
