Does the EncorePro 310 plug directly into USB?
No. It ends in a QD (Quick Disconnect) connector and connects to a desk phone or a computer through a Poly cord or adapter, to be bought along with the headset.
What is the QD connector for day to day?
For getting up without leaving the call: the connector unclips in one click halfway along the cord and clips back in when you return, without hanging up or taking off the headset.
55 g: is it comfortable over a whole day?
It is one of the lightest weights in the category: 55 g in total, with an on-ear ear cushion. At a station where the headset stays on all day, this figure determines real comfort.
Does the microphone filter out nearby conversations?
Yes, its boom is noise-cancelling and flexible: it eliminates background noise and surrounding conversations, so that the customer hears every word.
