This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Blackwire 5220 plug into a computer without a USB-C port?
Yes. The cable is USB-C and a USB-C to USB-A adapter is included in the box. A 3.5 mm jack plug completes the set for a phone or tablet.
Does the Blackwire 5220 fold for carrying?
Yes, the headset folds and stores in its carrying case, which is included. That is what sets it apart from a desk-bound headset: it follows its user between the office, meeting rooms and home.
Where does the control unit sit on the Blackwire 5220 cable?
At 116 cm from the headset, on a cable 2.17 m long in total up to the USB connector. Its indicator lights discreetly show volume, mute status and call status, in addition to the answer, end call, volume and mute buttons.
What does the microphone's DSP digital processing bring?
It makes the voice sound more natural to the listener: combined with the noise-cancelling mic, it processes the signal to deliver PC-quality wideband audio. The boom rotates through 280° and operates over 100 Hz to 10 kHz.
Does the headset adjust automatically between calls and music?
Yes: a dynamic equaliser optimises the voice during calls and adjusts the settings on its own when you switch to music or a video, without any action on your part.
What exactly does SoundGuard Digital technology protect against?
Three things: sounds are limited to below 118 dBA, the G616 anti-startle function caps noises at 102 dB SPL, and average daily exposure is measured to stay below 80 to 85 dBA. The Poly Lens app is required to enable these functions.
165 g on your head: is it comfortable over a day of calls?
The headband is metal, lightweight and padded, and the ear cushions combine memory foam with ultra-soft faux leather. Poly positions this headset for long conference calls, with a customisable fit.
Which meeting software is the Blackwire 5220 certified for?
Poly lists Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Jabber and Avaya, as well as Chromebook certification. It works on Windows 11, Windows 10 and macOS, with management handled through Poly Lens.
