What is the Logitech Tap Scheduler for?
To show at the entrance to a room whether it is free and to book it on the spot, for an immediate or upcoming meeting. It is the panel that puts an end to rooms being occupied without a booking.
Can you tell from a distance whether the room is free?
Yes, that is the role of the coloured LEDs around the edge of the panel: availability can be read from the corridor, without having to walk up to the screen.
Does the Tap Scheduler need a power socket?
No. It is powered through the network cable, via PoE to the IEEE 802.3af standard: a single Ethernet connection carries both power and data. You will, however, need a PoE switch or injector.
How is the Tap Scheduler mounted at the entrance to a room?
Three mounts are included: on the wall, on a mullion — the frame of a door or window — or on a glass mount, with a neat finish on both sides of the glass.
Do the cables remain visible around the Tap Scheduler?
No: several cable routing options let you hide them in the wall or in the mullion, or route them elsewhere. The mounts and cabling are included.
What screen does the Tap Scheduler have?
A 10.1-inch IPS panel at 1280 × 800 pixels, with a 170° viewing angle, a brightness of 400 cd/m² and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The IPS panel and the 170° matter: the panel can be read at an angle, from the corridor.
Does the Tap Scheduler adapt to the light in the corridor?
Yes, an ambient light sensor adjusts the screen. The panel stays readable in a glazed corridor in full sunlight, without dazzling in a dimly lit space.
Which booking solutions does the Tap Scheduler work with?
Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms and other room scheduling providers. Monitoring is then handled from Logitech Sync, together with the room's other devices.
What are the dimensions of the Tap Scheduler?
246.2 × 165 mm and 28.5 mm thick, in graphite, with VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting points. That 28.5 mm is the measurement to check in a narrow corridor.
