What output does the JBL Xtreme 3 deliver on mains power?
2 x 25 W RMS for the woofers and 2 x 25 W RMS for the tweeters, in AC power mode, over a frequency range of 53.5 Hz to 20 kHz with a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB. Four drivers and two bass radiators make up the system.
How long does the Xtreme 3 play, and how long does it take to recharge?
Up to 15 hours depending on volume and content, from a 36.3 Wh lithium-ion polymer battery (7.26 V / 5,000 mAh). A full recharge takes 4 hours at 20 V / 3 A, with the supplied adapter.
Can the JBL Xtreme 3 charge two devices?
Yes: it has a USB-A output (5 V / 2 A maximum) and a USB-C output (5 V / 1.5 A maximum), for a total of 2.5 A shared between the two. Enough to top up a phone and earbuds at the same time.
What is in the box of the JBL Xtreme 3?
The speaker, the JBL AC adapter with its cable and regional plug, the carrying strap, the quick start guide, the warranty booklet and the safety sheet. The adapter is specific to this speaker: keep it with the speaker.
Does the Xtreme 3's strap have anything special about it?
Yes: it has a built-in bottle opener. A seemingly trivial detail, but one that says a lot about the intended use — a speaker you take to the poolside or on a picnic rather than a living-room object.
What does the Xtreme 3's IP67 rating cover?
The 6 indicates it is fully sealed against dust, and therefore sand, and the 7 indicates protection against temporary immersion. Rain, splashes or a dip in the water will not stop it.
Can two phones stay connected to the Xtreme 3?
Yes: two devices stay paired at the same time and take turns. The connection uses Bluetooth 5.1, with the A2DP 1.3 and AVRCP 1.6 profiles, and a 3.5 mm jack input accepts a wired source.
Can you link several JBL speakers to the Xtreme 3?
Yes, via PartyBoost: two compatible speakers pair in stereo, or several can be linked together to cover a larger area. The speaker measures 298.5 x 136 x 134 mm and weighs 1.97 kg.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?

Volume, bass and treble are set with knobs on the top, without going through the phone. A 30 W amplifier for the bass and two 15 W ones for the treble fill a living room, and the 3.5 mm jack input takes wired sources.
