How many devices can share the screen on the Epson EB-994F?
Up to four at the same time, via the iProjection app: each person connects over Wi-Fi and you switch from one presenter to the next without re-cabling or passing a cable round the table. Miracast also allows direct streaming from a laptop.
Can a microphone for the presenter be connected to the EB-994F?
Yes, a microphone input is provided, and the built-in speaker delivers 16 W: the voice goes through the projector, which avoids a separate sound system in a meeting room or a medium-sized lecture theatre.
What is the lamp life of the EB-994F?
6,500 hours in normal mode and 17,000 hours in eco mode, for a 230 W UHE lamp. In a meeting room, at four hours a day, eco mode puts the replacement more than ten years away.
Can an older computer be connected to the EB-994F?
Yes. Besides HDMI, it has a VGA input and a composite video input: an older computer, a document camera or a DVD player connects without an adapter. An Ethernet port also lets you integrate it into the company network.
What throw distance is needed to install the EB-994F?
From 1.30 to 2.09 times the target image width, for sizes ranging from 31 to 304 inches. The 1.62× manual zoom then adjusts the framing without moving the projector, which leaves some leeway in a room that is already equipped.
Does the EB-994F's image straighten itself?
Yes, vertical keystone correction is automatic over ± 30°. The projector therefore compensates for the tilt on its own when it sits on a table lower than the centre of the screen, with no manual adjustment needed before each meeting.
Is the EB-994F easy to see without closing the blinds?
4,100 lumens of white and colour brightness alike, 2,300 lumens in eco mode, with a contrast ratio of 16,000:1 in Full HD. 3LCD technology handles the three colours on three separate panels, which keeps colours true in bright light.
Is the EB-994F projector easy to carry around?
3.1 kg: it moves from one room to another without difficulty, while offering the connectivity of an installation model. That is this model's balance: lightweight, but equipped to stay in place in a meeting room.
Is the Epson EB-994F new and under warranty?
