Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Epson EB-FH08's image straighten itself?
Yes, keystone correction is automatic over ± 30°. Placed on a coffee table and tilted towards the screen, the projector corrects the distortion on its own in a few seconds. The image size, on the other hand, is adjusted with a manual zoom ring.
What throw distance is needed for a large image with the EB-FH08?
From 1.21 to 1.45 times the target image width: for an image two metres wide, allow between 2.40 m and 2.90 m. It is a short ratio, which lets you fill a large wall from an ordinary living room, up to a 337-inch diagonal.
Is the EB-FH08 easy to see in a lit room?
3,600 lumens of white and colour brightness alike, with a contrast ratio of 16,000:1 in Full HD 1080p. The equality between the two measurements comes from 3LCD technology, which handles the three colours on three separate panels: colours do not fade in broad daylight.
What is the lamp life of the EB-FH08?
Up to 12,000 hours in eco mode, for a 210 W UHE lamp. At two hours of film a day, that is more than sixteen years before the first replacement — with eco mode lowering the light output in return.
How do you send the EB-FH08's sound to a speaker?
Through its audio jack output, which connects to a soundbar, an active speaker or a hi-fi system. It is the preferred option for a film: the projector receives the picture through one of its two HDMI inputs and sends the sound to your audio setup.
Is the EB-FH08 quiet during a screening?
37 dB(A) in normal mode and 28 dB(A) in eco mode, for 2.7 kg and 302 × 252 × 92 mm. It is a size that can be put away between two screenings and brought out again in a few minutes, with automatic keystone correction doing most of the setting up.
Can two devices be connected to the EB-FH08 at the same time?
Yes, it has two HDMI inputs: a console and a set-top box, or a desktop PC and a laptop, can stay connected permanently. The USB Type-B port at the back is reserved for maintenance and does not play files.
Is the EB-FH08 projector new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. It has a Kensington lock so it can be secured in a shared room, and the reference to quote for any spare part is V11HB54042.
