Is the inductive charging stand supplied?
Yes. EPOS reserves the CH 40 charging stand for the 1061, 1061T, 1061 ANC and 1061T ANC variants — and this reference is one of them. The stand charges the headset with no cable or plug to connect.
How long does it take to recharge this headset?
1 h 30 by cable (USB-C) and 2 h 30 on the inductive stand: wireless charging is slower, the price of a simpler gesture. The cable stays in the box for busy days.
What is the real-world battery life with noise cancellation on?
19 h of talk time with noise cancellation, against 20 h without it. Remember the first figure: you do not buy an ANC headset to turn it off.
How many devices can you connect at the same time?
Three: that is the triple connectivity stated by EPOS, for example a computer, a mobile phone and a tablet. The link runs over Bluetooth 5.3, with the pre-paired BTD 800a dongle on the computer side and a range of about 30 m.
How do you answer a call and mute the mic on the IMPACT 1061T?
By moving the boom — raised it mutes, lowered it answers — or simply by taking the headset off: the sensors take care of it. Mute can also be activated with a single press, with the headset on.
Can you talk to a colleague without taking the headset off?
Yes, TalkThrough mode lets nearby voices through for a quick conversation, then closes the sound bubble again. A transparency mode completes the set, to stay aware of the room.
How does this headset's noise cancellation work?
It is hybrid and adaptive: it combines internal and external sensors and adapts its processing to the actual noise in the room. EPOS counts it among its BrainAdapt technologies, which aim to reduce cognitive fatigue.
