Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Staging : microphone stand, boom arm, pop filter, mounts and ambient speakers photographed are not included unless stated.
  • Quantity : the number of speakers or channels visible in the image does not necessarily match the set sold.
  • Cables and tips : the cables, adapters, ear tips and cases supplied are those listed in the specifications.
  • Specifications : Bluetooth, jack socket, USB, noise cancellation and battery life cannot be read from a photo.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do you need to install a driver for this PC 7 USB?
No: the headset has its own built-in USB sound card and is plug-and-play on PC and Mac alike. That is what makes it easy to roll out for remote work or online classes.
Why only one earpiece on this model?
To keep one ear free for what is going on around you: the doorbell, a child, a colleague. The mono format also makes the headset lighter and less tiring over long sessions.
Does the microphone filter out room noise?
Yes, it is unidirectional and noise-cancelling: it picks up what comes from your mouth and minimises the rest, over a range of 90 to 15,000 Hz. That is what keeps your voice clear on video calls.
Can the ear cushions on this PC 7 be replaced?
Yes, replacement ear cushions are available as spare parts. That is what extends the life of an entry-level headset: the foam wears out long before the electronics.
How long is the cable on this USB headset?
2 m, which lets you plug the headset into a tower sitting on the floor and push your chair back without pulling on the cable.
Does this headset reproduce music and voice properly?
The earpiece covers 42 to 17,000 Hz, with an open-type dynamic driver and an impedance of 32 ohms. That is a wide range for a call headset, and it also suits a video or an online class.
Will this PC 7 stand up to prolonged daily use?
EPOS describes it as having a durable design, built to stand the test of time. The ear cushion is on-ear, resting on the ear, and the whole headset stays very light thanks to its single earpiece.
Is this EPOS PC 7 USB new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original EPOS packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year on part number 1000431. The manufacturer document for the PC 7 USB details all the measurements.
