What does Microsoft Teams certification bring to this model?
The T version is Microsoft Teams certified: the headset is recognised as the meeting's audio device and the controller buttons operate the application. It also remains compatible with the main contact centre platforms.
Where are the call controls on this wired headset?
On a controller located 25 cm from the headset, on the cord: answer, hold, volume and mute. Placed that close, it never goes missing and can be operated without taking your eyes off the screen.
How does the microphone filter out the noise of the office floor?
With three adaptive digital MEMS microphones using automatic beamforming, driven by EPOS AI: they focus on your voice and remove the rest, over a range of 100 Hz to 16 kHz.
What happens if I speak while the microphone is muted?
The LED at the tip of the boom flashes and an audio alert lets you know. Mute is also activated simply by raising the boom, with no button to look for.
How can colleagues see that I am on a call?
The headset has a busy light visible through 360°, lit during the call. On a busy floor, it acts as a “do not disturb” sign and noticeably reduces interruptions.
Are incoming voices processed?
Yes: muffled voices are enhanced and incoming call volume is normalised. You move from one caller to the next without touching the volume, which matters over a hundred calls a day.
Which computers does this headset connect to?
Both: the cable is USB-C, with a USB-C to USB-A adapter included for older workstations. The cord is 1.8 m long and there is nothing to install.
