Can you add memory to this MSI Prestige 14 Ai+?
No. The 32 GB of LPDDR5x is built into the motherboard, in dual-channel mode: the configuration is fixed at purchase. The good news is that 32 GB is already a comfortable reserve — virtual machines, large spreadsheets and photo editing run without difficulty.
How good is the OLED display on this MSI Prestige 14 Ai+?
1920 × 1200 on 14 inches in the 16:10 format, OLED, covering 120% of the sRGB colour space. Blacks are truly black and colours highly saturated — good enough for photo editing, while giving you an extra vertical strip of workspace compared with a 16:9 screen.
Does the OLED display on this Prestige 14 cause eye strain?
MSI highlights two SGS-certified treatments on this panel: low blue light and flicker-free. The second addresses a common criticism of OLED panels, whose brightness control can cause flicker that is invisible but tiring over long days.
How do you sign in to this MSI Prestige 14 Ai+ without a password?
Two ways: the fingerprint reader and the Full HD infrared webcam for facial recognition. A physical privacy shutter covers the lens when not in use, and an fTPM 2.0 chip handles disk encryption.
What ports does this MSI Prestige 14 Ai+ have?
Two Thunderbolt 4 ports (DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0), two 10 Gbps USB-A ports and an HDMI 2.1 output capable of driving 4K at 120 Hz. An external monitor, a USB flash drive and a fast drive can therefore be connected without a docking station or adapter.
What do you charge the MSI Prestige 14 Ai+ with?
With a 65 W USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 charger, plugged into one of the two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Its 4-cell 81 Wh battery is generous for a 1.32 kg chassis, and it supports fast charging between two appointments.
1.32 kg and 13.9 mm — is this Prestige 14 really an ultraportable?
Yes. It weighs 1.32 kg for 315.6 × 221.95 mm and a thickness of 11.9 to 13.9 mm, in an aluminium chassis. With a 65 W USB-C charger, the whole set slips into a slim bag without you noticing — something few 14-inch laptops with 32 GB of memory can offer.
How good are the speakers and microphones on this Prestige 14 Ai+?
The set-up is complete for a 14-inch laptop: two 2 W speakers and two 2 W woofers, with DTS processing and Hi-Res Audio compatibility. For voice pickup, an array of three beamforming microphones switches between immersive and directional capture.
Does this MSI Prestige 14 Ai+ have good wireless connectivity?
Yes, it has an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 card and Bluetooth v6. Wi-Fi 7 reaches its full potential with a compatible router, but its real benefit lies elsewhere: it holds the connection better in congested environments, such as open-plan offices or meeting rooms.
Does this Prestige 14 have sensors to adjust the display automatically?
Yes, two sensors are built in: an ambient light sensor and an ambient colour sensor. The first adjusts the backlight to the room, the second adjusts the colour temperature — useful for keeping natural-looking colours whether you are in a room under fluorescent lighting or at a desk near a window.
Is the MSI Prestige 14 Ai+ new and under warranty?
