This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

The Hollyland Solidcom SE 2S is a full-duplex wireless intercom system that lets two crew members talk at the same time, without pressing a button. It operates on the 2.4 GHz band and sets up without a complex base station: the headsets sync with each other and are ready to go within seconds. Dual-mic ENC noise reduction isolates the voice from on-set noise, and Push-to-Talk mode remains available when discretion is called for. Frequently asked questions about this product

How many people can talk at the same time on this Solidcom SE 2S?
Two, in full-duplex: each person speaks and hears simultaneously, as on the phone, without pressing a button. The system can then take additional remote headsets to cover a larger team.
Does this system need a base station to work?
No. The headsets communicate directly over 2.4 GHz and come pre-paired at the factory: switch them on and the group is formed within seconds, with no central unit to wire up and no configuration.
Up to what distance do the headsets stay connected?
350 m line of sight, on the 2.4 GHz band. The system automatically changes frequency when it encounters interference, which matters on a shoot surrounded by other transmitters.
How long do the headsets last on one battery?
12 h for a remote headset and 10 h for the master headset when it is running four remote headsets. The 770 mAh batteries are removable and recharge in under 3 hours, or via USB-C directly on the headset.
Can you shoot in the rain with the Solidcom SE?
The headsets are protected by an internal protective coating that shields the components from sweat and moisture. Hollyland does, however, specify that they are not fully waterproof: the protection covers splashes, not immersion.
Does the noise of a film set or a festival get through the microphone?
The dual-microphone ENC noise suppression reduces it by more than 20 dB, in all directions, for a stated signal-to-noise ratio of 71 dB. That is what keeps the voice intelligible in the middle of a crowd.
Can you cut yourself off from the group when you do not want to be heard?
Yes, in two ways: Push-to-Talk mode, where you only open up to the group while pressing the button, and raising the mic boom, backed by a lock function that toggles between mute and talk with a single press.
Can the headset's wear parts be replaced?
Yes: the ear cushions and the microphone cushions can be replaced, the latter preventing the drop in recording quality and the noise that come with wear. The batteries are also removable.
Can you connect an external microphone to the headset?
Yes, the headset's USB-C port accepts a 3.5 mm microphone via a USB-C to TRS cable. Useful flexibility when the set calls for a particular microphone.
What does the Solidcom SE 2S kit contain?
One master headset and one remote headset, both single-ear, two battery packs (lithium-ion, 770 mAh), a 6-slot charging base, a USB-A to USB-C cable, the manual and the numbering stickers.
Is this Hollyland intercom system new and under warranty?
Yes, new in its original Hollyland packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year. Each headset weighs approximately 185 g including the battery and operates from 0 to 45 °C.
