Frequently asked questions about this product

How many pages can I print with the ink bottles supplied?
The five bottles in the box (black, cyan, magenta, yellow, plus a second black bottle) print up to 8,300 pages in black and 6,500 pages in colour before the first refill.
Do I need to buy cartridges for this printer?
No, the EcoTank L3350 runs on refillable ink bottles rather than cartridges. Refills use Epson 103 bottles: a black bottle yields 4,700 pages, each colour bottle 7,500 pages.
Can it be used over Wi-Fi only, without a USB cable?
Yes. It connects to the home Wi-Fi network or straight to a phone over Wi-Fi Direct. The box contains no USB cable: to link it to a computer by cable you need a USB-A to USB-B cord, sold separately.
Can I print from a smartphone?
Yes, the Epson Smart Panel app sends documents and photos from a phone, sets up the Wi-Fi and monitors the printer. It is also AirPrint compatible for iPhone and iPad, and Mopria for Android.
Is duplex printing automatic?
No, duplex is manual: the stack of sheets has to be turned over and printed again.
Can several pages be scanned or copied in a row without placing them one by one?
No, the printer has no automatic document feeder for the scanner. Each sheet goes on the glass, which suits an occasional document but not a stack of several dozen pages. Copying can still run up to 20 copies in a row, straight from the machine without a computer.
What is the scanner resolution?
The flatbed scanner captures at 1,200 × 2,400 optical dots per inch. At 200 dpi, an A4 sheet is scanned in 11 seconds in black and 28 seconds in colour.
Does the printer have a display?
No, it has no display. Control, Wi-Fi settings and ink level monitoring all go through the Epson Smart Panel app on a smartphone.
What paper sizes does it take?
It prints up to A4, as well as A5, A6, B5, B6, envelopes and 10 × 15 cm borderless. The rear tray holds 100 standard sheets.
How much room does it need on a desk or a shelf?
With the lid closed it measures 361 × 317 × 162 mm for 4.1 kg, a compact format that fits on a corner of a desk or on a shelf.
