The EM210 is an omnidirectional electret lavalier microphone, supplied with its PS210 battery adapter. It is meant for teachers, presenters or stands speaking through a small PA.

From microphone to mixer, in two plugs

The 3 m cable, attached to the microphone, ends in a 3.5 mm mono jack plug. The PS210 adapter takes it, powers the capsule with a supplied 1.5 V AA battery and outputs to a 6.35 mm jack for a mixer or an amplifier. Superlux also recommends the EM210 with its MA500 voice enhancer.

Discreet on a collar or lapel

The 13.5 mm diameter capsule weighs 25 g and attaches with the tie clip. Omnidirectional, it keeps picking up the voice when the speaker turns their head. The supplied windscreen reduces wind and breath noise, for a response that extends from 30 Hz to 18 kHz.

Does the EM210 need a battery?
Yes, one 1.5 V AA battery, included, which fits in the PS210 adapter supplied with the microphone. The EM210 runs on 1.5 to 6 V DC; it needs no phantom power.
