Does the Jabra Biz 2400 II QD plug straight into a USB port?
No. It ends in a QD (Quick Disconnect) connector and connects to a desk phone or a computer with a QD cord or a Jabra Link adapter. Make sure you get this connecting part along with the headset.
Are the large ear cushions included with this Duo version?
Yes. Jabra supplies the large ear cushions as standard on the Duo versions, whereas they remain an accessory on the Mono versions. They are designed for the headband version, which is the one this model uses.
What is the “air shock” microphone on the Biz 2400 II?
It is the noise-cancelling microphone that filters out sharp breathing sounds and pops — plosive consonants — often heard in close-up conversation. In return, HD voice technology makes the incoming voice clearer.
Is the mic boom likely to break from being turned so often?
It turns through 360° without risk of breaking, thanks to the FreeSpin system. The headband and the boom are adjustable, so several agents can share a desk without forcing the hinge.
Does the cord hold up in a call centre environment?
It is reinforced and explicitly protected against office chair castors, sharp objects and daily use. Jabra presents this as an availability advantage: fewer headsets replaced, fewer interruptions for the team.
What happens if a loud, sudden sound reaches your ear?
PeakStop technology removes it before it reaches your ear: any sound above 118 dB is filtered out. This is the protection that matters at a desk where you cannot choose what comes down the line.
Can you listen to music with this call centre headset?
Yes. Jabra states Hi-Fi sound for music as well as voice, and its speakers reduce ambient noise to help you concentrate on the call. The ear cushioning is in very soft faux leather.
Which phones and platforms does this headset work with?
Jabra states more than 10,000 traditional desk phones, as well as softphones and contact centre platforms: Cisco, Avaya, Genesys Cloud and Microsoft Teams. The QD cord you choose determines how it connects.
