How far does the Poly Studio E60 camera reach?
Up to 10 metres. That is what makes it suited to large rooms: a participant sitting at the back remains clearly visible, where a compact video bar camera falls short.
Is the Poly Studio E60's zoom optical or digital?
Optical, 12x: the picture stays sharp when zooming in on the back of the room, unlike a digital zoom, which crops into the existing pixels.
Why does the Studio E60 have two lenses?
Because it works with two fields of view: 71° for the motorised camera that follows the speaker, 107° for the panoramic camera that sees the whole room. Two 8-megapixel sensors, one for each.
How does the Studio E60 follow the speaker?
With Poly DirectorAI: presenter tracking keeps the focus on the main speaker even when they move around, and automatic group framing removes the empty space around participants.
Does the Studio E60 need a power outlet nearby?
No if your network supports PoE+: the Gigabit RJ-45 port then carries both power and data. A PoE+ injector is included, and a standard power input is still available.
Where can the Poly Studio E60 camera be installed?
On a monitor, on the wall or on the ceiling. It measures 20 × 15 × 16.5 cm and weighs 1.79 kg: a weight to bear in mind for high mounting.
Does the Studio E60 have built-in microphones?
Yes, two, with beamforming. In a large room, they are mainly used to locate the speaker for framing: the main audio remains the job of a dedicated system.
What is in the box of the Poly Studio E60?
The camera, the infrared remote control, the PoE+ injector and the warranty card. The remote control saves you from having to adjust framing from software during the meeting.
How is a Poly Studio E60 managed remotely?
With Poly Lens, the cloud-based device management platform: configuration, monitoring and updates are handled without going to the room.
