Yes, this model includes the charging base as well as the USB-C/A adapter: the headset sits docked and ready between meetings, with no cable to plug in.

No, and that is a deliberate design choice: ten built-in microphones replace the boom — six pick up your voice, four feed the adaptive active noise cancellation. Nothing sticks out in front of your face on video calls.
