Does the Evolve2 50 stay connected to the phone when it is plugged in via USB?
Yes, that is its dual connectivity: the headset stays plugged into the computer via USB while keeping a Bluetooth link to a second device. It remembers up to 8 paired devices.
Does raising the boom mute the mic, and does lowering it answer the call?
Yes, both. Raising the boom mutes the mic; lowering it unmutes the mic and answers the incoming call. A single movement replaces the answer button — and the people around you can see it.
What does this model's active noise cancellation offer?
It shuts out outside noise to create a zone of focus, relying on a specially designed acoustic chamber, microphones dedicated to suppressing noise and a dedicated chipset.
How many microphones does the Evolve2 50 use?
Four on the stereo version — two analogue MEMS and two digital — two of which are dedicated to voice, driven by a voice-isolation algorithm that filters out background distractions.
Is the headband padded on this stereo version?
