This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

What does the “H” in the Core Ultra 7 165H of this EliteBook 1040 mean?
The H denotes Intel's high-performance version, with a more generous power budget than a U series. This Core Ultra 7 165H packs 16 cores and 22 threads up to 5.0 GHz, with an AI accelerator: it is an ultraportable capable of photo editing and light video editing.
Is the battery in this EliteBook 1040 G11 easy to replace?
No, the battery is internal and not user-replaceable: replacing it goes through maintenance, under warranty. On the other hand, fast charging restores 50% in 30 minutes, enough to head back into a meeting between two appointments.
Does this EliteBook 1040 G11 have an Ethernet port?
No, there is no RJ-45 port on this 1.05 cm-thick chassis. Wired networking goes through a USB-C adapter or a docking station, which the two Thunderbolt 4 ports power without difficulty. For wireless, the Wi-Fi 6E card opens up the 6 GHz band.
What ports remain on such a thin chassis?
The essentials have been kept: two Thunderbolt 4 ports at 40 Gb/s (DisplayPort 2.0 and charging), one 10 Gb/s USB-C, one powered 5 Gb/s USB-A and an HDMI 2.1 output. A standard USB flash drive therefore plugs in directly, without an adapter.
How good are the speakers on this EliteBook 1040 G11?
There are four of them, tuned by Poly Studio and fitted with discrete amplifiers, with dual-array microphones. Four drivers in a 1.18 kg chassis is unusual: voices come through much more clearly in video conferences than with the usual pair of speakers.
How do you sign in to this EliteBook 1040 without a password?
Two ways: the fingerprint reader and the 5 MP infrared webcam, which recognises your face via Windows Hello, even in a dark room, since infrared does not need visible light. A TPM 2.0 chip completes the set on the encryption side.
