What battery life does the JBL Charge 5 Blue claim?
Up to 20 hours of listening per charge, with a full recharge in 4 hours. In practice, a whole day of music runs on a single charge: the beach in the morning, the terrace in the afternoon, then the evening, without stopping at a socket.
How does the Charge 5 produce its 40 W?
With a long-excursion woofer, a separate tweeter and two bass radiators at the ends of the cylinder. These passive radiators are what give the bass its presence in an enclosure this size.
Can the JBL Charge 5 charge a phone?
Yes, it has a built-in power bank for your devices: you plug in your phone while the music keeps playing. Factor it into your calculations — this charge comes out of the twenty hours of stated battery life.
What does this speaker's IP67 rating cover?
The 6 indicates it is fully sealed against dust, and therefore sand, and the 7 indicates protection against temporary immersion in water. Rain, splashes from the pool or a spilled drink are all among what the standard covers.
Can you link several JBL speakers to the Charge 5?
Yes, via PartyBoost: several compatible JBL speakers connect to each other to play the same music and cover a larger area, rather than turning up the volume on a single speaker.
What is in the box of the JBL Charge 5?
The speaker, a USB Type-C cable, the safety sheet, the quick start guide and the warranty card. So the charging cable is included; the AC adapter to plug it into depends on what you already have.
How much does the Charge 5 weigh and where can you put it?
