Yes, in three ways: a USB flash drive or a microSD card of up to 64 GB with MP3 files, FM radio with automatic scanning, or a wired source via the 3.5 mm jack input.
What do the Energy Sistem Urban Box 2's 10 W deliver?
True stereo sound: two 40 mm full-range speakers with a dual passive radiator that supports the bass, over a range of 100 Hz to 18 kHz. The format is aimed at close-range listening.
How is the Urban Box 2 charged?
Via a micro USB port — not USB-C: keep the supplied cable or have a spare micro USB cable to hand. The 1,200 mAh battery fills up in 3 hours for 12 hours of music.
Which speakers does the Urban Box 2 pair with in stereo?
With a second Urban Box 2 or with the brand's Speaker FS1 model: these are the two declared compatibilities for the True Wireless Stereo function. Each speaker then takes one channel, which doubles the sound power.
Can you answer a call with the Urban Box 2?
Yes: a built-in microphone handles hands-free calls, and your phone's voice assistant remains accessible from the speaker. The HFP and HSP Bluetooth profiles required for calls are supported.
What is in the box and how much does the speaker weigh?
The speaker, a 3.5 mm audio cable, a USB cable, a wrist strap and the quick guide, for 450 g and 160 x 68.8 x 68.8 mm. Its fabric covering withstands rubbing in a bag better than a bare shell.
Is the speaker new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. Keep the supplied micro USB cable: it is this speaker's charging connector, less common today than USB-C.
