This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is Windows preinstalled on the Lenovo V15 Gen 5i 83GW006XTP?
No: the machine boots into FreeDOS, without Windows. Plan for a Windows 11 licence and a USB installation drive, or a Linux distribution. The hardware remains fully compatible; only the operating system is not supplied with the machine.
Is there a free memory slot on the Lenovo V15 Gen 5i?
Yes. The machine has two SO-DIMM slots and only one is occupied, by the 8 GB DDR5-5200 module. You can therefore go up to 32 GB in total, and adding a second module enables dual-channel mode, which benefits the integrated Intel UHD graphics.
Is the SSD in the Lenovo V15 Gen 5i replaceable?
Yes, but there is only one: a single M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot holds the 512 GB SSD, and the machine accepts up to 1 TB in this format. When ordering, watch out for the 2242 format, which is shorter than the 2280 most common on the market.
Is the keyboard on the Lenovo V15 Gen 5i backlit?
No, this model has a French AZERTY keyboard without backlighting: working in a dark room calls for an extra light. The touchpad is a 62 × 104 mm Mylar Precision TouchPad, with no physical buttons.
Does the Lenovo V15 Gen 5i have a fingerprint reader?
No, there is no biometric sensor: you will sign in with a password or PIN once Windows is installed. The webcam is an HD 720p unit fitted with a physical shutter, which covers the lens when you are not using it.
