Is the charging stand supplied with the IMPACT 1060 ANC?
No. The CH 40 charging stand comes with the 1061, 1061T, 1061 ANC and 1061T ANC variants; the IMPACT 1060 ANC charges through the USB-C cable included in the box.
What is the real-world battery life of this headset with ANC on?
19 h of talk time with noise cancellation, against 20 h without it. The first figure is the one to remember: you do not buy an ANC headset to switch it off.
How many devices can the headset handle at once?
Three simultaneously — for example a computer, a mobile phone and a tablet. The link is Bluetooth 5.3, with a pre-paired USB-A dongle for the computer and a range of about 30 m.
How do you answer a call or mute the mic on this headset?
By moving the boom — raise it to mute, lower it to answer — or simply by taking the headset off: the sensors take care of it. No button to hunt for during a meeting.
Can you talk to a colleague without taking the headset off?
Yes, that is the TalkThrough mode: it lets nearby voices through for a quick exchange, then closes the bubble again. The headset also has a transparency mode to stay aware of the room.
How many microphones does this headset have?
Four adaptive digital microphones, driven by EPOS AI: they adapt their processing to the actual noise so your voice comes through, rather than applying fixed filtering.
Can the busy light be seen from all sides?
Yes, it is visible through 360° and signals that you are on a call, including to colleagues approaching from behind. It is the feature that prevents an interruption before it happens.
