Where are calls handled on this Engage 40?
On a control unit on the cable: answering, hanging up, adjusting the volume and muting the microphone are done with your fingertips, without going back to the telephony software.
Are two microphones enough in an open-plan office?
The 2-MEMS-microphone system compares what each capsule picks up to isolate your voice from ambient noise, over a band of 100 Hz to 14,000 Hz. The headset's fit also blocks out external noise.
Which port does this headset connect to?
A USB-A port, plug-and-play, with nothing to install. It is the wired version that is easy to roll out across a fleet of existing desktop workstations.
How can you signal that you should not be disturbed?
The built-in Busylight lights up during calls and can be seen from the next workstation. It also indicates incoming calls and, depending on the model, Microsoft Teams notifications.
63 g for two earpieces: is that realistic?
That is the stated weight for the stereo version, headset alone — 144 g with its control unit and cable. The mono version weighs 45 g.
What cable length should you plan for from the tower?
