Frequently asked questions about this product
Does the Energy Sistem DJ2 need recharging?
No, there is no battery: it is wired, with a 3.5 mm jack. You plug it in and the music starts, with no pairing and no charge level to watch — it is listed as compatible with smartphones, tablets, computers and portable players.
What happens if the cable gets damaged?
It can be replaced: the cable is detachable. On wired headphones, it is the part that fails first — being able to change it doubles the useful life of the product.
Can you take a call with these headphones?
Yes: a wired remote is built into the cable, with a microphone. You answer without taking out your phone, and go back to your music the same way.
Do the ear cushions surround the ear?
Yes, the headphones are over-ear, with soft leather ear cushions: the pressure is spread around the outer ear rather than on it, which stays comfortable over long listening sessions. They weigh 175 g.
Does the headband adjust to the size of your head?
Yes, it is adjustable. This adjustment is what determines real comfort: headphones that are too tight become tiring in under an hour, while headphones that are too loose lose their bass and let sound leak out.
How good are these headphones' 40 mm drivers?
A 40 mm diaphragm moves enough air to hold firm bass without strain: it is the usual diameter for over-ear listening headphones, larger than the 32 mm of a compact model.
Are the Energy Sistem DJ2 headphones new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty, the invoice serving as the warranty document. Keep it: it is all you need for any workshop repair.
Headband that extends 38 mm on each side and ultra-soft ear cushions: enough to sit through one video call after another. The microphone boom, on the left, adjusts finely and then swings out of the way when it is no longer needed.
•Adjustable noise-cancelling microphone boom, on the left
It plugs into a computer as easily as a tablet or a smartphone, with nothing to install. Rotating noise-cancelling microphone to wear on the left or the right, volume and mute on the cable.
•Noise-cancelling microphone that reduces background noise
Plug them into a phone with no headphone jack: a built-in audio converter and two drivers per earbud, of 11 and 8 mm, deliver clear, balanced sound. Microphone and three-button remote on the braided cable.
Light, with swivelling foam earpads and an adjustable headband: it can be worn for hours through online meetings. The swivelling noise-cancelling mic tucks into the headband once the call is over.
100% recycled GRS-certified plastic and FSC cardboard packaging: a responsible choice that gives up nothing on sound, with 13 mm drivers tuned for the bass. 4 h of listening per charge, 20 h in total with the case.
Four hours of listening in one go, sixteen more in the charging case: enough to last the day. A compact, light format to slip into a pocket, with a built-in microphone to take calls without getting the phone out.
Two speaker sizes per earbud for a clear rendering from bass to treble. Three sizes of silicone tips, 18 g on the ears and a braided cable that refuses to tangle in a pocket.
Certified for high-resolution audio, they deliver the deep bass of the JBL Pure Bass signature through two 9 mm dynamic drivers. The flat cable does not tangle at the bottom of a bag.

A single button on the cable is all it takes: start a track, pause it, pick up a call. No pairing, no battery to keep an eye on, just a jack socket to listen.

No pairing and no recharging: sound is available straight away
Sixteen hours of playback per charge, and a folding design that makes it fit in a bag. Made from 100% recycled GRS-certified plastic, for 167 g on the head.
Airy and wide without giving up all isolation: the 50 mm drivers cover 10 Hz to 30 kHz, with bass that is present but controlled and readable mids. It plugs straight into a computer.
Swapping cables takes a second: 3 m straight in the studio, coiled in the field. The 40 mm drivers with neodymium magnets reach up to 24 kHz, and the ear cups swivel 90° for one-ear monitoring.
More than 100 hours of wireless battery life, and recharging that does without a cable: just set it on a base. Foldable for long journeys, with an M button to customise from the app.
No dedicated amplifier needed: it plugs straight into a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop with no loss of volume. The 50 mm drivers cover 10 Hz to 25 kHz and the 3 m cable can be replaced if it breaks.
The JBL Headphones app tunes the equaliser to your taste, and Voice Aware lets you hear your own voice during a call. Connected to two devices at once, 220 g on the head, 76 hours of stated listening.
One earcup swivels 90° to listen with a single ear and keep the other on the booth, the DJ's gesture. Response reaches 22 kHz and isolation stays tight: the same model moves from mixing to tracking to the booth.
14 mm drivers, large for this format, give scale to music and to videos alike. Just 10 g, with a multifunction button and a microphone on a 120 cm cable.
A single button on the cable is all it takes: start a track, pause it, pick up a call. No pairing, no battery to keep an eye on, just a jack socket to listen.
Plug in and it works: no pairing, no battery to recharge. 10 mm drivers, a noise-cancelling microphone and an in-line remote, on a reinforced TPU cable built for daily trips in a bag.
