Do the JBL Sense Lite go deep into the ear?

No: JBL OpenSound technology delivers sound by air conduction and leaves the ear canal completely clear. Nothing goes into the ear — a real relief for those who find in-ear tips tiring after an hour.

How long do the beige Sense Lite last?

Up to 8 h from the earbuds alone, plus 24 h in the case, making 32 h in total. On calls, allow 5 h. A full charge takes 2 h, but 10 minutes are enough to get back 3 h of listening before you head out.

Can the people around me hear my music?

The precise fit of these earbuds aims to eliminate sound leakage, so your conversations stay private. It is the usual compromise of the open design, and the point this model was engineered to address: you can turn up the sound without broadcasting it around you.

Does the ear hook stay comfortable all day?

It combines ultra-soft liquid silicone with a shape-memory wire that you bend once to the shape of your ear. The evenly balanced weight is just 9.5 g per earbud, or 19 g for the pair — light enough to forget over a working day.

Do these earbuds cancel ambient noise?

No, and that would make no sense on an open design. Noise reduction applies to calls: four external microphones and ambient noise processing clean up what the person you are talking to hears, not what you hear from the street.

Can you use just one earbud at a time?

Yes, thanks to Dual Connect: the two earbuds work together or separately, either one. Useful for keeping one ear free in a meeting, or for extending listening time by charging the one you are not using.

How do calls perform outdoors?

Two beamforming microphones per earbud, four in total, isolate your voice from everything else. The hydrodynamic windproof design greatly reduces distortion caused by air friction: this is the point specifically worked on for making calls while walking outdoors.

Can you run in the rain with the Sense Lite?

Yes: they are rated IP54, meaning protection against dust and against water splashes from any direction. Light rain or workout sweat is no problem. They are not waterproof against immersion.

Does the open design sacrifice bass?

Two answers are provided: 18 × 11 mm drivers, large for this format, and an adaptive bass boost algorithm that strengthens the low end according to the music volume. The intended result remains smooth and balanced.

Can the touch controls be reprogrammed?

Yes, in the JBL Headphones app, which lets you redefine the controls on each earbud for music as well as for calls. It also gives access to a 10-band equaliser to create your own sound signature.

Can they be connected to a computer and a phone together?

Yes, multipoint connection handles two Bluetooth devices at the same time and switches from one to the other without re-pairing. The link uses Bluetooth 5.4, and Google Fast Pair pairs your Android device as soon as the case is opened.

Are these JBL earbuds new and under warranty?
