Is a charging cable supplied with the Galaxy Buds4?

No: the box contains the earbuds, the charging case and the quick start guide. The USB Type-C cable is not included. Nor is the wireless charging pad, which is sold separately — so make sure you have something to charge them with from the very first evening.

Can the Galaxy Buds4 case be charged wirelessly?

Yes, it supports inductive charging: placed on a compatible pad, it charges without a cable, and an indicator light shows the battery status. Its translucent lid also lets you check at a glance that the earbuds are properly seated.

Can the Galaxy Buds4 Pro case be used with the Galaxy Buds4?

No. The two cases are shaped differently and are not compatible with each other. Each model therefore charges in its own case, which matters if you already own earbuds from the range or are looking for a replacement case.

What is the difference between the Galaxy Buds4 and the Galaxy Buds4 Pro?

The Pro adds a 2-way speaker with dual amplifier, three sets of silicone ear tips and the Voice Detect and Siren Detect features. The Buds4 focus on balanced sound delivered by a high-performance speaker, optimised for everyday listening.

How does the pinch control on the Galaxy Buds4 work?

With your index finger, on the earbud's blade: one pinch plays or pauses and answers a call; two skip to the next track; three go back to the previous one; pinch and hold triggers the preset function or declines a call. Swiping up or down adjusts the volume.

Do you need to install an app to control the Galaxy Buds4?

No on a Galaxy running One UI 8.0 or later: features are set from the quick panel or the phone's settings, with nothing to download. On earlier versions of One UI, settings go through the Galaxy Wearable app.

Which phones get 24-bit/96 kHz audio?

Galaxy phones in the S26, S25, S24, S23, Z Fold5 to Fold7 and Z Flip5 to Flip7 ranges, as well as the Tab S9 to S11, running One UI 6.1.1 or later. The Samsung Seamless Codec then preserves 24-bit depth and 96 kHz sampling all the way to the earbud.

How good is the Galaxy Buds4 speaker?

An 11 mm wide-range dynamic speaker, a generous diameter for an earbud, billed as delivering solid, controlled bass through to clear treble. A large diaphragm moves more air: that is what gives body to the low end of the spectrum.

Does noise cancelling adapt to my ear?

Yes: the ANC algorithm processes information in real time and adjusts to the shape and size of your ear. ANC and ambient sound levels are also recalculated according to your surroundings, so you stay immersed without cutting yourself off from what is around you.

How do the Galaxy Buds4 isolate your voice during a call?

With six microphones placed around the head and a deep neural network that separates your voice from background noise. The signal is then transmitted in super-wideband up to 16 kHz to the Galaxy smartphone: this is what Samsung calls Super Clear Call.

Can you customise the sound?

Yes, with a 9-band equaliser to adjust bass, treble and tone. The “Adjust to fit” option also adapts the sound to the shape of your ear and the way you wear the earbuds, so the balance holds when you change the volume.

Can you answer a call hands-free?

Yes: a nod of the head accepts the call, a shake of the head rejects it, and the same gestures are used to interact with Bixby. Handy when your hands are full, or in situations where you cannot give a command out loud.

How does live translation work with the Galaxy Buds4?

What you say is played through the Galaxy smartphone's speakers to be interpreted, while the other person's reply reaches you in the earbuds. The Interpreter feature is part of Galaxy AI and therefore requires a compatible Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Are the Galaxy Buds4 new and under warranty?

Yes, new and genuine, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. This model comes in black and white; the reference for this version is SM-R540NZKAMWD, to be quoted when making a warranty claim.
