Is the charging cable included with the Endurance Peak 4?

No, it is not. The box contains the earbuds, the charging case, an enhancer, three sizes of ear tips, the warranty leaflet and the quick start guide. So you will need a USB cable: the one from your phone will work perfectly.

How many hours do they last with noise cancelling on?

8 h from the earbuds alone, with noise cancelling on, and 32 h in total with the case. Without noise cancelling, you get 12 h and 48 h. The 48 h headline figure therefore assumes noise cancelling is off: 8 h is the safer figure to plan around in real-world use.

Is the charging case as tough as the earbuds?

No: the earbuds are IP68 — sweat, rain, salt water and sand — whereas the case is only rated IPX2, i.e. a few drops at most. The habit to adopt: earbuds for the workout, the case sheltered in your bag.

Does the ear hook suit every ear shape?

It is made of liquid silicone with memory wire, precisely to adapt to different ear sizes, and complements the TwistLock locking design of the JBL oval tubes. Each earbud weighs 10.5 g, the case 80.5 g.

How many mics for calls, and how do they handle wind?

Three mics per ear, six in total, with a beamforming algorithm that filters out background noise. The windproof design greatly reduces the distortion caused by air friction: this is what keeps calls usable mid-run.

Is a quick charge possible before a session?

Yes: 10 minutes gives 4 h of listening. A full charge takes 2 h. On calls, count on 5 h with noise cancelling on and 6 h with it off — enough for several calls in a row after your workout.

Can you stay aware of traffic while running?

Yes, with Ambient Aware mode: it lets outside sounds back in and lets you talk to someone without removing the earbuds. Conversely, four noise-sensing mics provide the adaptive noise cancelling, whose level can be adjusted in the app.

Can they be paired easily with an Android phone?

Yes, with a single tap thanks to Google Fast Pair, over Bluetooth 5.4. Multipoint connection then keeps two devices connected at the same time, and Google Audio Switch switches automatically from one Android device to another.

What does the JBL Headphones app offer after a workout?

A relax mode with five soundscapes — ocean waves and a crackling fire, among others. Before exercise, it sets the noise cancelling level and offers profiles to suit the intensity of your session: light, moderate or intense.

Can you locate them if you leave them at the gym?

Yes, through Google Finder, which locates them from an Android device. The case also has a lanyard hole so you can attach it to your bag: the simplest way to avoid leaving it on a changing-room bench.

Are these JBL earbuds new and under warranty?

Yes, new and genuine, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. Full specifications are given in the manufacturer's datasheet.
