What is in the box of the Galaxy Buds4?

The earbuds, the charging case and the quick start guide. The USB Type-C cable is not included, and neither is the wireless charging pad — it is sold separately. So make sure you have a way to charge them on the very first evening.

Does the case support wireless charging?

Yes. Placed on a compatible charging pad, it tops up without a cable, and an indicator light shows the battery status. Its translucent lid also lets you check at a glance that both earbuds are properly in place before you head out.

Is the Galaxy Buds4 Pro case interchangeable with this one?

No. The two cases have a different shape and are not compatible with each other. Each model therefore charges only in its own case — worth knowing if you already own earbuds from the range or are looking for a replacement case.

What does the Galaxy Buds4 Pro offer over the Buds4?

A 2-way speaker with dual amplifier, three sets of silicone ear tips and the Voice Detect and Siren Detect features. The Buds4, for their part, focus on balanced sound delivered by a high-performance speaker, optimised for everyday listening.

How does the pinch control work?

With your index finger, on the blade of the earbud: one pinch plays, pauses or answers a call; two skip to the next track; three go back to the previous one; pinch and hold launches the preset function or declines a call. A swipe adjusts the volume.

Do I need an app to adjust their settings?

No on a Galaxy running One UI 8.0 or later: everything is done from the quick panel or the phone's settings, with nothing to download. On earlier versions of One UI, the settings are in the Galaxy Wearable app.

Which Galaxy devices get 24-bit/96 kHz audio?

The S26, S25, S24, S23, Z Fold5 to Fold7 and Z Flip5 to Flip7 series, as well as the Tab S9 to S11, running One UI 6.1.1 or later. The Samsung Seamless Codec then preserves a 24-bit depth and a 96 kHz sampling rate all the way to the earbud.

Does the noise cancellation adapt to my ear?

Yes: the algorithm processes the information in real time and adjusts to the shape and size of your ear. The ANC and ambient sound levels are also recalculated according to your surroundings, so you stay immersed without cutting yourself off from the world.

How good is the 11 mm speaker?

It is a generous diameter for an earbud: a large diaphragm moves more air, which gives the solid, controlled bass advertised, right up to clear, detailed highs. A 9-band equaliser then lets you fine-tune the sound to your taste.

How is my voice isolated during a call?

By six microphones arranged around the head and a deep neural network that separates your voice from the background noise. The signal is then sent in super wideband up to 16 kHz to the Galaxy smartphone: this is what Samsung calls Super Clear Call.

Can I answer a call with a nod of the head?

Yes: a nod accepts the call, a shake of the head rejects it, and the same gesture is used to interact with Bixby. Handy when your hands are full, or at times when you cannot give a voice command out loud.

Are these white Galaxy Buds4 new and under warranty?

Yes, new and genuine, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. This model comes in white and black; the reference for this version is SM-R540NZWAMWD, to be quoted when making a warranty claim.
