Frequently asked questions about this product

How good are the 10 mm drivers in the StyleBuds?
10 mm is a comfortable diameter for this format: a larger diaphragm moves more air, hence the advertised deep bass, in a sound described as balanced rather than focused on bass alone.
Does the noise reduction affect what I hear?
No: it works on the outgoing side. The ENC mic cleans up what the person you are talking to hears during a call; it does not reduce street noise on your end. This distinction is a frequent source of misunderstanding.
How long do they last?
Up to 25 hours in total with the charging case, which itself features fast charging. That is enough to cover several days of everyday use — music, podcasts and calls — without looking for a socket along the way.
Is the sound out of sync when you watch a video or play games?
These earbuds have a low-latency mode, designed to keep picture and sound in sync for video as well as gaming. It is the main flaw people attribute to Bluetooth, and the issue this mode aims to fix.
Can you take them to the gym?
Yes: they are rated IPX4, protected against water and sweat. The X simply indicates that dust resistance has not been tested, not that it is absent.
What does the ESmart Connect app let you do?
Personalise your listening — the sound and the earbud settings. It is an extra, not a requirement: the earbuds work as soon as they are paired, and the app is for fine-tuning.
Is there a wire between the two earbuds?
No, none: they are two independent earbuds, in an in-ear design. Nothing runs behind your neck or to the phone, which gives you complete freedom of movement.
Are these Energy Sistem earbuds new and under warranty?
