How long is the warranty on the Epson EB-L200F?
Five years, on new equipment for which the invoice serves as the warranty document. Combined with a laser light source rated for 20,000 hours, this period covers most of the unit's useful life in a meeting room.
Does the EB-L200F need a replacement lamp?
No, its light source is a laser: 20,000 hours in normal mode and 30,000 hours in Eco mode, with instant power-on and brightness that stays stable over time. There are no consumables to budget for over that entire period.
Can you project wirelessly from a laptop with the EB-L200F?
Yes, Wi-Fi and Miracast are built in, with screen sharing and the iProjection app: you connect by scanning a code displayed on the screen. An Ethernet port also lets you connect it to the company network at the same time.
Does the EB-L200F accept a microphone for a training room?
Yes, it has a microphone input and a built-in 16 W speaker: the trainer's voice is amplified by the projector itself, with no separate PA system. An audio output also lets you connect it to the room's speakers.
How much throw distance does the EB-L200F need?
From 1.33 to 2.16 times the width of the image you want, for image sizes from 40 to 500 inches. The 1.62× optical zoom then fine-tunes the framing without moving the unit, which gives you comfortable leeway in a room that is already fitted out.
Does the EB-L200F straighten the image automatically?
Vertical keystone correction is automatic, complemented by four-corner adjustment for a skewed image. The unit also finds the active source on its own and powers on when it detects a signal.
How bright is the EB-L200F in a lit room?
4,500 lumens in both white and colour, 3,150 lumens in Eco mode, with a contrast ratio of 2,500,000:1 in Full HD. 3LCD technology handles the three colours on three separate panels: colours do not wash out when the room lights stay on.
How much power does the EB-L200F use, and how noisy is it?
254 W in operation, 193 W in Eco mode and 0.5 W in standby, with 37 dB(A) in normal mode and 28 dB(A) in Eco mode. That is low for 4,500 lumens: the laser source has no lamp to cool, unlike a conventional model.
Does the EB-L200F come with a cable?
Yes, a 1.80 m HDMI cable is in the box, along with the power cable and the remote control with its batteries. Two HDCP 2.2-compatible HDMI inputs let you keep two sources permanently connected.
Is the EB-L200F easy to move between rooms?
4.1 kg for 325 × 299 × 90 mm: it is easy to carry from one room to another, while also accepting a permanent installation. A Kensington lock slot, a padlock point and a security cable hole protect the unit in a shared space.
