Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Epson CO-FH01 offer streaming apps?
No, it is a projector without a built-in operating system: it has neither Wi-Fi nor a network port. The picture comes in through its HDMI input, to which you connect a streaming stick, a set-top box, a games console or a computer. It is the choice of simplicity and a tight budget.
What image size can you get with the CO-FH01?
From 26 to 391 inches, at a distance of between 0.9 m and 10.4 m. The throw ratio of 1.19 to 1.61:1 places the unit at 1.19 to 1.61 times the width of the image: allow about 1.64 m for a 60-inch image.
Is the CO-FH01's keystone correction automatic?
No, it is manual, over ± 30° both vertically and horizontally. It is set in the menu during installation; on the other hand, it stays exactly where you left it, which suits a unit that keeps its place in the room.
Is the CO-FH01's zoom optical?
No, it is digital, with a factor of 1 to 1.35: it shrinks the image through processing rather than by moving the lens. The size is therefore adjusted by moving the unit closer or further away, which means planning its position before you buy.
Is the CO-FH01 bright enough for a lit room?
3,000 lumens of white and colour brightness, 2,000 lumens in Eco mode, in Full HD 1920 × 1080. 3LCD technology handles the three colours on three separate panels, which preserves colours without having to make the room completely dark.
How long does the CO-FH01's lamp last?
6,000 hours in normal mode and 12,000 hours in Eco mode, for a 188 W UHE lamp. At two hours a day, normal mode already represents more than eight years of use before the first replacement.
Is the CO-FH01's speaker good enough for watching a film?
It delivers 5 W: enough for a series or a video in a small room, but short for an evening with several people. The unit also runs at 38 dB(A) in normal operation and 29 dB(A) in Eco mode.
What is in the CO-FH01 box?
The unit, the power cable, the remote control with its batteries, the quick start guide, the user manual on CD and the warranty card. You will need the HDMI cable for your source, as well as a carrying case if the unit is going to travel.
How much power does the CO-FH01 use?
270 W at peak, 214 W in Eco mode and 0.5 W in standby, and it weighs 2.4 kg on the scales. It is one of the lightest models in the lamp-based range, which makes it easy to move from room to room or take on holiday.
Is the CO-FH01 projector new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, the invoice serving as the warranty document. The part number of this version is V11HA84040: it distinguishes it from the CO-FH02, very close in name, which adds Wi-Fi and an Android TV stick.
