TP-Link LS105G unmanaged Gigabit switch: 5 RJ45 10/100/1000 Mbps ports in an ultra-compact, lightweight format to add more network ports to an office, a living room or any small space with no effort.
Ports: 5 Gigabit ports, copper, auto-negotiation, auto MDI/MDI-X — connect straight away with no configuration, compatible with any standard network cable (Cat3 to Cat6).

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the LS105G be configured?
No: it is an unmanaged switch, with no interface and no settings. It switches traffic as soon as it is plugged in. Auto MDI/MDI-X corrects the pinout on its own and auto-negotiation recognises the speed of each connected device.
Can this switch be mounted on a wall?
Yes, wall mounting is supported, in a metal casing measuring 99.8 × 98 × 25.1 mm. Metal dissipates heat better than an equivalent plastic casing, on equipment designed to stay on permanently.
How much power does this switch use, and how is it powered?
2.776 W maximum, giving off 9.466 BTU/h of heat. It runs on an external 5 V / 0.6 A power adapter, supplied with the device and connected via a barrel jack.
Does this 5-port model support jumbo frames?
Yes, up to 16,000 bytes, with 1 MB of buffer memory: large copies to a NAS require fewer packets. Switching capacity reaches 10 Gbps, at 7.4 Mpps, with a 2,000-entry MAC address table.
What operating conditions can this switch handle?
0 to 40 °C, at 10 to 90% relative humidity during operation. Quality of Service is supported, which lets packets marked as priority by the devices themselves go first.
Is the switch new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. This is the TP-Link LS105G, version V1, CE, FCC and RoHS certified, with no power over the network cable and no 10 Gigabit support.
