This product is covered for 3 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Which operating system is preinstalled on the HP EliteBook 830 G11?
Windows 11 Pro, the edition that handles BitLocker encryption, domain join and Group Policy. You switch it on and get to work straight away: no licence to buy and nothing to install, unlike machines sold with FreeDOS.
Can you add memory to this EliteBook 830 G11?
No. The 8 GB of LPDDR5-6400 is built into the motherboard, with no accessible slot: the configuration you buy is final. If your work involves lots of tabs, virtual machines or large spreadsheets, you are better off choosing a version with more memory from the outset.
What does the “U” in this EliteBook’s Core Ultra 5 135U stand for?
It denotes Intel’s low-power family, tuned for battery life and quiet running. This Core Ultra 5 135U has 12 cores and 14 threads running at up to 4.4 GHz and includes an AI accelerator: office work, video calls and multitasking are its home ground; heavy video editing is a job for an H-series chip.
Is the battery in this EliteBook 830 G11 easy to replace?
No, the 56 Wh battery is internal and not user-replaceable: it has to be swapped by a service technician, under warranty. On the plus side, fast charging restores 50% in 30 minutes, which is usually enough to head back into a meeting between two appointments.
Does this EliteBook 830 G11 have an Ethernet port?
No, there is no RJ-45 port on this 13.3-inch chassis. Wired networking goes through a USB-C adapter or a docking station, which the two Thunderbolt 4 ports power without difficulty. For wireless, the Wi-Fi 6E card opens up the 6 GHz band if your router supports it.
Is an HDMI cable supplied with the HP EliteBook 830 G11?
No, it is sold separately. The laptop does have an HDMI 2.1 output for a monitor or projector, but you will need to get the cable. The two Thunderbolt 4 ports provide a second display path over DisplayPort 1.4, via an adapter or a docking station.
Does this EliteBook’s screen stay readable in daylight?
It is built for exactly that: 400 nits, an anti-glare finish and 100% sRGB coverage on a 13.3-inch WUXGA IPS panel. You can work next to a large window without turning the brightness up to maximum, and the low blue light certification reduces eye strain at the end of the day.
How do you sign in to this EliteBook without a password?
Two ways: the fingerprint sensor and the 5 MP infrared camera, which recognises your face through Windows Hello. Because infrared does not need visible light, face recognition also works in a dark room or against the light.
How does this EliteBook protect itself against firmware attacks?
7th-generation HP Sure Start monitors the BIOS and repairs it automatically after a malware attack, a rootkit or system corruption. On top of that come HP Sure Click, which isolates the web pages and attachments you open, the HP Tamper Lock feature and a security lock slot.
Is this EliteBook 830 G11 well equipped for video conferencing?
Yes. It combines a 5 MP camera, a Poly Studio audio system with two speakers and discrete amplifiers, and dual-array microphones. Dynamic colour adjustment corrects the camera’s white balance, which helps against a plain background or in difficult lighting.
Is the HP EliteBook 830 G11 repairable and responsibly made?
