Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Keyboard : manufacturers' images are international: our computers ship with an AZERTY (French) keyboard, even when the photo shows a QWERTY one.
  • Visible features : a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard, webcam, numeric keypad or card reader glimpsed in the image are not necessarily present on this exact reference.
  • Ports and connectors : the number, type and position of the ports (USB, USB-C, HDMI, RJ45) change from one configuration to another within a single photographed series.
  • Display : the image shown on the screen is a composite; resolution, touch panel and bezel thinness are those of the specifications.
  • Operating system : the Windows desktop visible in the photo implies neither a Windows licence nor an Office suite installed: the specifications state the system actually delivered.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the Snapdragon processor in the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q an Intel chip?
No, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon X1E-78-100, a chip based on ARM architecture rather than x86 as used by Intel or AMD. It has 12 cores reaching 3.4 GHz, with a Hexagon AI accelerator. Windows 11 Pro comes preinstalled and is designed for this architecture.
What battery life does the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q offer?
Up to 26 hours — an exceptional figure, made possible by the Snapdragon's ARM architecture, far more power-efficient than an x86 chip of comparable performance. The battery is 59 Wh and charges to 50% in 30 minutes with HP Fast Charge.
Is the battery of the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q replaceable?
No: it is internal and not user-replaceable; replacing it is a matter for warranty service. That is the point to know about a machine you keep for several years, as a battery's capacity naturally decreases with charge cycles.
Is the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q really thin?
8.4 mm at the front and 11.2 mm at the back, for 31.29 × 22.35 cm — dimensions that place it among the thinnest laptops in the range. The chassis is made of recycled aluminium, a material that retains rigidity despite the slim profile.
Is the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q screen a touchscreen?
Yes, it is a 14-inch 2.2K (2240 × 1400) touch panel, reaching 400 nits — a resolution higher than the usual Full HD, showing more detail at the same screen size, and a brightness that stays readable near a window.
Is the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q equipped for video calls?
It has a 5 MP webcam with a privacy shutter and an infrared sensor for Windows Hello facial recognition. AI-based image processing improves how you look on calls — a feature the Snapdragon chip runs locally.
Is the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q repairable?
It has a repairability index of 7.1, a good score for an 8.4 mm-thick ultraportable — a public benchmark established according to an official scoring grid. The battery, however, remains a matter for service, not for the user.
What does Windows 11 Pro bring to the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q?
Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled and activated. It is the edition that allows joining a corporate domain, BitLocker encryption and remote management. On top of that comes HP Sure Sense, threat protection that does not rely solely on known signatures.
What ports does the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q offer?
One 40 Gbps USB-C port, a second USB-C port and one USB-A port, complemented by Wi-Fi 6E. The 40 Gbps of the first port lets you drive a dock or an external monitor with a single cable, which also supplies power.
Is this HP EliteBook Ultra G1q new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed, with a 1-year warranty covering parts and labour; the invoice serves as proof. The configuration combines 16 GB of LPDDR5x and a 1 TB SSD on PCIe Gen4. Full details are in this PDF document.
