How long do the JBL Tune Beam 2 last with noise cancelling on?
Up to 10 hours from the earbuds alone, with noise cancelling on, and 40 hours in total with the case. With it switched off, that rises to 12 and 48 hours. The 10-hour figure is the one to bear in mind for everyday use.
How long do they last on calls?
Up to 5 hours with noise cancelling on, 6 hours with it off. The gap compared with music playback comes from the work of the mics and the voice processing. A full charge takes 2 hours.
What is in the box of the Tune Beam 2?
A pair of earbuds, the charging case, a USB Type-C charging cable, three sizes of ear tips, a warranty booklet and a quick start guide. As the cable is included, there is nothing else you need.
Does the IP54 rating also cover the case?
No, it only covers the earbuds. They are water- and dust-resistant, so you can use them in rainy or windy weather. The case, on the other hand, should be kept sheltered in a bag.
How are calls handled in windy weather?
Six mics take care of it: two external mics per earbud form a beam towards your mouth, while an internal mic isolates the noise. The ambient noise reduction and echo cancellation algorithms hold up even outdoors.
What is the difference between Ambient Aware and TalkThru?
Ambient Aware controls how much outside noise you let in, so you stay aware of traffic without stopping the music. TalkThru goes further: it lets you talk to someone without taking the earbuds out.
Are the earbuds discreet to wear?

What does the JBL Headphones app let you do?
Adjust the level of adaptive noise cancelling and ambient sound, reassign the controls, check the ear tip fit and find misplaced earbuds. Personi-Fi 3.0 also creates your personal sound profile in the app.
