Do the Ugreen HiTune S3 go inside the ear?

No, they clip onto the edge of the ear and leave the ear canal completely free. The sound is directed towards the ear without entering it: you listen to your music while staying aware of what is going on around you.

Can people around me hear my music?

Directional sound transmission is designed precisely to prevent this: the sound is focused towards the ear canal and leakage is kept to a minimum. That is the trade-off specific to the open-ear design — at a reasonable volume, the people around you are not disturbed.

Does the clip squeeze the ear after a few hours?

It is made to avoid that: a flexible, durable shape-memory titanium wire follows the contour of the ear without pressing on it, and each earbud weighs just 5.3 g. Nothing goes into the ear canal, which removes the feeling of pressure you get with in-ear models.

How long does the HiTune S3 battery last?

7.5 h per earbud and up to 30 h in total with the charging case. If you forget to charge them, 15 minutes of charging give 2 h of listening — enough to cover a last-minute trip without waiting for a full charge.

Can an open-ear design really deliver bass?

That is what this model sets out to do: a 12 mm diaphragm, generous for an earbud, paired with an N48 neodymium magnet. A large diaphragm moves more air, which partly makes up for the ear canal not being sealed and gives a present bass.
