Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Staging : microphone stand, boom arm, pop filter, mounts and ambient speakers photographed are not included unless stated.
  • Quantity : the number of speakers or channels visible in the image does not necessarily match the set sold.
  • Cables and tips : the cables, adapters, ear tips and cases supplied are those listed in the specifications.
  • Specifications : Bluetooth, jack socket, USB, noise cancellation and battery life cannot be read from a photo.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Do the Ugreen HiTune S5 go inside the ear?
No: they clip on and deliver sound through the air, without ever entering the ear canal. No ear tip, no pressure inside the ear — and you can hear your surroundings at all times, which is useful in town as well as when working from home.
Is the sound out of sync when gaming or watching a video?
The advertised latency goes down to 80 ms in low-latency mode, precisely so that picture and sound stay in sync, in games as in videos. This is where this model stands out, as most open-ear earbuds do not quote any latency figure.
How long does the HiTune S5 battery last?
Up to 24 h in total, including the charging case. The case acts as a reserve between listening sessions, and the Ugreen app shows the battery level of each earbud as well as that of the case — so you know before heading out how much charge is really left.
Do these earbuds have active noise cancellation?
No, and that would contradict an open-ear design. The advertised noise reduction works on calls: it isolates your voice from the ambient noise for the person you are talking to; it does not block out the street for you. A distinction that avoids disappointment when you unbox them.
Can an open-ear design deliver real bass?
That is what this model sets out to do: a wideband 12 mm biocomposite diaphragm, advertised for deep bass, precise mids and clear highs despite the ear canal not being sealed. A large diaphragm moves more air, which partly makes up for the design.
Can I run or sweat with the HiTune S5?
Yes: they are rated IPX5, meaning resistance to water jets. Sweat and splashes are not a problem for sports use. The open-ear design is even an advantage outdoors, since you can still hear the traffic around you.
What is the Ugreen app for?
Three things: showing the battery level of each earbud and of the case, choosing from several EQ presets, and turning on a game mode. It is the app that gives you access to fine-tuning the sound to what you are listening to.
What is in the box of the HiTune S5?
The two earbuds, their charging case and a USB-C cable. With the cable included, there is nothing else you need to get started, and the connector is the one used on recent phones.
Are these Ugreen HiTune S5 earbuds new and under warranty?
Yes, new and genuine, with the invoice serving as the warranty document for 1 year. The exact reference is 45760: it is what identifies the product when making a warranty claim.
