No: they clip on and deliver sound through the air, without ever entering the ear canal. No ear tip, no pressure inside the ear — and you can hear your surroundings at all times, which is useful in town as well as when working from home.

Is the sound out of sync when gaming or watching a video?

The advertised latency goes down to 80 ms in low-latency mode, precisely so that picture and sound stay in sync, in games as in videos. This is where this model stands out, as most open-ear earbuds do not quote any latency figure.

How long does the HiTune S5 battery last?
