This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Shure MV7i replace an audio interface?
Yes: it has a built-in audio interface, with an XLR and 6.35 mm jack combo input on the back. A second microphone or a guitar can be plugged straight into it, with no external box.
Does this additional input power a condenser microphone?
Yes: it provides 48 V phantom power and up to +60 dB of gain. Enough to power a condenser mic or drive a demanding dynamic mic, with no additional preamp.
Which devices can the MV7i record on?
On a computer, tablet or smartphone, via its USB-C connection. Both channels are controlled from the MOTIV Mix app, in its desktop or mobile version.
How are the two channels recorded?
As you choose, in three modes: a single mix, two separate tracks so you can rework each voice in editing, or a stereo output. The choice is made before recording.
Can each channel be processed separately on the MV7i?
Yes: Auto Level, Denoiser, pop filtering and reverb are set per channel. Your guest’s voice and yours therefore do not have to receive the same processing.
Can I monitor myself through headphones while recording?
Yes: a 3.5 mm headphone output lets you monitor both channels with zero latency. So you also hear what the microphone plugged into the back is picking up.
What is the MV7i’s light bar for?
To mute the audio with a single tap — either the microphone or the rear input. It is touch-sensitive and customisable, as on the other microphones in the MOTIV range.
What is the recording quality of the Shure MV7i?
24-bit at 48 kHz, on a cardioid dynamic capsule tightly focused on the voice. It is the standard resolution for podcasting and video.
What is in the box of the Shure MV7i?
The microphone, with its all-metal body and adjustable yoke for a stand or boom with a 5/8-inch thread, and a 3-metre USB-C cable.
Is this Shure MV7i microphone new and under warranty?
