1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the Shure SM4 be plugged directly into a computer?
No: it is a microphone with an XLR connection, which requires an audio interface or a mixing desk. Include one in your budget if you are building a studio from scratch.
Does the SM4 pick up interference from Wi-Fi and phones?
It is protected against it: anti-interference shielding blocks radio noise from Wi-Fi routers, phones and laptops. A decisive point in a room where everything is transmitting all the time.
Do you need a pop filter in front of the Shure SM4?
No: the pop filter is built into the microphone’s grille. One less accessory to buy and position in front of the capsule.
What does the SM4’s one-inch dual-diaphragm capsule bring?
Solid lows and detailed highs, with exceptional control of low frequencies. The capsule is made of brass, the traditional material of studio microphones.
Do you have to whisper a few centimetres from the SM4?
There is no need: its wide pickup area reduces the proximity effect, the bass boost that occurs when you put your mouth right up against the microphone. So you keep a stable tone even when moving slightly.
Can the SM4 handle a drum kit or a guitar amp?
Yes: it handles up to 140 dB SPL, which covers soft vocals just as well as a drum kit or a guitar amp. A single microphone for both voice and instrument.
What is in the box of the Shure SM4?
The microphone, a swivel clip, a thread adapter for European stands and a zipped pouch. The construction is all-metal, with a discreet profile on camera.
Is this Shure SM4 microphone new and under warranty?
