Frequently asked questions about this product

What does the built-in converter in the EasyPods bring?
It is what sets them apart from a simple cable with a USB-C plug: the digital-to-analogue converter is built into the earphones, rather than borrowed from the phone. The signal stays digital all the way, hence the advertised HD sound.
Do they need pairing or charging?
Neither. These earphones are wired: no battery to keep an eye on, no pairing to redo, no risk of finding them flat. They are always ready to use, which makes them a good complement to wireless earbuds.
How long is the cable?
120 cm. That is long enough to keep your phone in a jacket pocket, or to put it next to a laptop without the cord tugging at your ears at the slightest movement.
Can you manage calls and music without taking out your phone?
Yes. The mic is built into the cable, together with a playback remote. A single press also calls up the phone's voice assistant, which saves unlocking the screen for a simple command.
Do these earphones have active noise cancellation?
No. The isolation comes from the in-ear design, which follows the shape of the ear canal and cuts out some of the background noise. It is passive noise reduction: it uses no power and works as soon as they are plugged in, but depends on a good fit in the ear.
Do they work with a laptop?
Yes: they are stated to be compatible with smartphones and laptops fitted with a USB-C port. No driver to install, no adapter: you plug in and the audio output is recognised.
