Is pairing the StyleBuds quick?
Yes: pairing happens as soon as you open the case, with a connection described as stable. A single step the first time you use them, after which the earbuds reconnect on their own.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 25 h of listening in total with the charging case, described as compact. That is enough to cover several days of commuting, podcasts and calls before you need a power socket.
Are they sweat-resistant?
Yes: they are rated IPX4, protected against splashes and sweat — enough to go with you from your commute to your workout. The X means that dust resistance has not been tested.
Which devices are they compatible with?
A smartphone, tablet or PC with Bluetooth. That covers more devices than many earbuds in this range, which are often limited to phones and tablets.
Can I make calls with these earbuds?
Yes: a microphone is built in and you hear in stereo, in both ears. You can answer without taking out your phone, which is more comfortable than a mono headset as soon as the conversation goes on a little.
Do these earbuds have active noise cancellation?
No. Noise attenuation comes solely from the in-ear design, which seals the ear canal and cuts out some of the background noise. That is enough for a commute or a work session, less so for a very noisy environment.
