No: their open design does not block the ear canal. You stay aware of your surroundings, in town as well as outdoors, and they stay comfortable over time since nothing presses inside the ear.

How long do the Airwave last?

6 h of listening per charge in the earbuds, plus 24 h from the case, for 30 h in total. The earbuds recharge in 1 h and the case in 2 h over USB-C. Six hours in a row cover a working day.

Can an open design deliver bass?

These earbuds use 17 × 12 mm dynamic drivers, which are large for this format: a bigger diaphragm moves more air, which partly makes up for the ear canal not being sealed. The stated frequency response covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Does the noise reduction affect what I hear?
