How long do the JBL Wave Beam 2 last with noise cancelling on?
Up to 8 h from the earbuds alone, with noise cancelling on, compared with 10 h with it off. The stated 40 h is the total with the case, with noise cancelling off: 8 h is the figure to remember for everyday use.
How long do they last in calls?
Up to 5.5 h with noise cancelling on, 6 h with it off. The difference from music playback comes from the work done by the microphones. If you are in a hurry, a 10-minute charge gives 3 h of listening; a full charge takes 2 h.
What is in the Wave Beam 2 box?
A pair of earbuds, the charging case, a USB Type-C charging cable, three sizes of ear tips, a warranty booklet and a quick start guide. Since the cable is included, there is nothing else you need to buy.
Can you adjust how much outside noise you hear?
Yes, with Smart Ambient mode: it lets you choose how much outside sound comes through, without taking the earbuds out. Active noise cancellation does the opposite, reducing the surrounding noise so you can shut yourself off.
Can you wear them in the rain?
