What is the battery life of the Serenity ANC Ultra?

Up to 5 hours of listening per charge at medium volume, plus 20 more hours from the case, for 25 hours in total. A full recharge takes about 1 hour for the earbuds and 2 hours for the case over USB-C. The case can also be placed on the wireless charging pad supplied with the earbuds.

Is the noise cancelling effective on public transport?

Yes. The active noise cancelling is hybrid: it reduces ambient noise by up to -35 dB between 20 and 1,000 Hz, the range of engine, bus and air-conditioning rumble. Energy Sistem puts it at around 95% less outside noise, which lets you listen at a lower volume in noisy surroundings.

Can the case be charged without a cable?

Yes. The case supports Qi wireless charging, and a wireless charging pad is included in the box. Simply place the case on it. The pad can also charge a Qi-compatible phone. The USB-C cable is still supplied to charge the case directly, in about 2 hours for a full charge.

Are these earbuds good for phone calls?

Yes. They have six microphones (Six Mic Voice Calls technology) that pick up your voice for clear calls, even in the street. The microphone has a sensitivity of -38 dB ±3 dB and covers 100 Hz to 10 kHz. HSP and HFP profiles are supported, and the earbuds give access to Google or Siri voice assistant without taking out your phone.

Can they be worn for sport?

Yes, for everyday use. The earbuds are IPX4 certified: they resist sweat and water splashes, but not immersion. Three ear tip sizes (S, M and L) are supplied to adjust the fit in the ear, which also improves isolation and the effectiveness of the noise cancelling.

What is the Bluetooth range and which codecs are supported?

The connection uses Bluetooth 5.4, with a stated range of up to 20 metres without obstacles. The earbuds support the SBC and AAC codecs, the latter being the one used by iPhones, and the A2DP, AVRCP, HSP and HFP profiles for music, playback controls and calls.

What is in the box?

The box contains the Serenity ANC Ultra earbuds in their charging case, the wireless charging pad, three pairs of ear tips in sizes S, M and L and a USB-C cable. The earbuds are made from 100% recycled GRS-certified plastic, and the packaging is FSC certified.
