How long do the Energy Sistem Style 1 last?
Up to 8 h of listening per charge. Eight hours in a row covers a day of commuting, a workout session and the breaks in between: the kind of battery life that means you don't have to think about it in the middle of the day.
Can you manage music without taking out your phone?
Yes: built-in multifunction buttons handle playback and volume, and a microphone lets you take calls hands-free. Your phone can stay in your pocket from the start of the journey to the end.
How far from your phone can you go?
Up to 20 m, with no obstacle in between. In practice, you can leave your phone on a desk and move around the room, or leave it in the living room and walk into the kitchen without the connection dropping.
How do they charge?
Via a USB-C connector, the same as on recent phones: a single cable is therefore enough when travelling. Count on eight hours of listening between charges.
Do these earbuds have active noise cancellation?
No. Noise reduction comes solely from the in-ear design, which sits in the ear canal and cuts out part of the background noise. It is passive isolation, enough for a commute but dependent on how the earbud sits.
