Yes, its casing is rated IP68: fully sealed, waterproof and dust-tight, fire-retardant and protected against wind erosion. It operates from -30 to +65 °C, which covers night-time frost as well as summer heat.

A PoE 802.3af or PoE+ 802.3at port, as power consumption stays below 13 W — so an entry-level PoE switch is enough. A local DC power supply is also accepted on its dedicated input.
