Are these earbuds certified for online meetings?

Yes, for four platforms: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Webex. That is a wider scope than most professional earbuds, and it is the supplied USB-C dongle that carries this certification.

Do your ears feel blocked after several hours of meetings?

That is precisely what the semi-open acoustics aim to prevent: ambient mode works without occlusion, so the blocked-ear feeling does not build up over the hours. A point rarely addressed on office earbuds.

How long do the Adapt E1 last with noise cancelling on?

10 hours with noise cancelling on, 14 hours with it off, and 50 hours in total with the case. That is battery life well above average, designed for full days of calls without needing a power outlet.

What if the battery runs out just before a meeting?

5 minutes of charging is enough to get going again for an hour. Another workaround: solo mode leaves one earbud charging in the case while the other stays in your ear — so a day of calls never has to stop.

Does the music pause when you take out an earbud?

Yes: these earbuds feature in-ear detection with auto-pause. At a workstation, it saves you hunting for the pause button when a colleague comes over and you pull out an earbud in one movement.

How is your voice isolated during a call?

By three microphones per earbud — six in total — with adaptive beamforming: pickup refocuses on your voice according to how you wear the earbuds, rather than applying a fixed direction.

How many ear tip sizes are included?

Four: XS, S, M and L, in silicone, as part of the EPOS IntelligentFit fit. An XS size is rarely offered and makes all the difference for small ears — the fit also determines how effective the noise cancelling is.

Can you stay connected to your PC and your phone?

Yes, multipoint connection handles two devices simultaneously, over Bluetooth 5.3, with the AAC and SBC codecs. A meeting in progress on the computer no longer stops you from seeing a call come in on your mobile.

Can you wear them in the rain or for workouts?

Yes: they are rated IPX5, resistant to sweat, rain and splashes. It is a rating that comfortably covers daily commutes and occasional sports use.

Can the case be charged wirelessly?

Yes, inductive charging is supported: you place the case on a pad and off you go. Each earbud weighs 11 g, a weight spread over the concha rather than pressing into the ear canal.
