Grandstream GWN7702 unmanaged Gigabit switch: 16 RJ45 ports to connect a whole office or small business in no time, with no configuration whatsoever — plug it in and it is up and running.
Ports: 16 Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mbit/s ports with auto-negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX on every port — no crossover cable required; computers, printers, Wi-Fi access points and servers are detected automatically.
Form factor: metal casing that sits on a desk or slides into a network rack (rack-mount kit included); dimensions 280 x 180 x 44 mm.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Grandstream GWN7702 need configuring?
No: it is an unmanaged, ready-to-use switch. No VLANs, no web interface: each port negotiates its speed and corrects cable crossover automatically. Plug it in and it is up and running.
How many ports does this switch have?
16 RJ45 ports at 10/100/1000 Mbps, all identical: none is reserved for the uplink. Computers, printers, Wi-Fi access points and servers can be plugged into any of them.
What performance does the GWN7702 offer?
32 Gbps switching capacity, with an 8,000-entry MAC address table: all sixteen ports can run at full speed in both directions without the switch becoming the bottleneck.
Does this switch support jumbo frames?
Yes, up to 10 KB, which speeds up copies of large files to a server or network storage. 802.3x flow control also slows down the sender when a port is saturated, instead of dropping packets.
Can the GWN7702 be rack-mounted?
Yes: the rack-mount brackets are included. The metal case measures 280 × 180 × 44 mm — 1U high, 18 cm deep — and sits just as well on a desk as in a wall-mounted cabinet.
Does this switch supply PoE?
No, none of its sixteen ports supplies power. Connected IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points will need their own power supply or a PoE injector. This also explains its power consumption of 8 W.
How much power does this switch add?
8 W at 220 V for sixteen Gigabit ports: it can stay on around the clock without weighing on your electricity bill or on the runtime of a shared UPS. LEDs show the activity of each port.
Is the switch new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new equipment, with the invoice serving as the warranty document. Full technical details are in the GWN7702 documentation. FCC and CE compliant.
