What do the Epson EB-L735U's 7,000 lumens let you do?
Project without switching off the lights in a lecture theatre, a lobby or an exhibition hall, on an image of up to 500 inches. The contrast ratio exceeds 5,000,000:1, which preserves the dark areas even at this brightness level.
Does the EB-L735U need a replacement lamp?
No, it is a laser model: no lamp to buy or to have replaced high up, and instant power-on with no warm-up time. This is what makes this type of unit well suited to a permanent ceiling installation.
How do you position the EB-L735U's image without moving the unit?
With the wide-range lens shift and geometric correction: the former moves the image optically, the latter compensates for projection onto a surface that is not perfectly flat or perpendicular. The unit can therefore be mounted wherever the building allows.
Does the EB-L735U accept a 4K source?
Yes, it supports 4K input signals, which it displays at its native WUXGA resolution. Its HDMI inputs and its HDBaseT port — which carries the image and control over a simple network cable — cover both a local computer and a distant control room.
Does a computer need to be permanently connected to the EB-L735U?
No. Its built-in media player plays content directly from a USB flash drive, and the built-in Wi-Fi lets you stream from a computer, tablet or mobile device. The Epson Projector Professional Tool software manages the settings remotely.
Is the EB-L735U unobtrusive in a closed room?
38 dB(A) in normal mode and 27 dB(A) in Eco mode, for 8.4 kg and 440 × 339 × 136 mm. In a large space, the unit is far from the audience anyway; in a closed room, Eco mode is preferable.
Is the EB-L735U projector new and under warranty?
Yes, new equipment, the invoice serving as the warranty document. Make sure you have a mount rated for its 8.4 kg and quote the part number V11HA25140: the EB-L series includes several models with very similar names but different brightness levels.
